I’m running for State Senate to put Michiganders first. As Sheriff, I’ve served with transparency and accountability, and I’ll bring that same commitment to Lansing. I’ll stand strong for our district, speak the truth, and work across the aisle when it benefits our community.

I’ll research issues, listen to all perspectives, and prioritize real solutions. Most importantly, I’ll be a voice for crime victims—ensuring justice, safety, and policies that put them first.

One of the greatest aspects of serving as Sheriff is that my job has always been in the hands of the people—not a political manager, mayor, or governor. If you believe I’ve done my job well and that our community is heading in the right direction, I ask for your support. If you have concerns, I want to hear them and have the opportunity to address them.

I know I can’t make everyone happy, but I can promise this: I have given my all and will continue to do so. Every decision I’ve made has been based on what’s best for our county and my office, always within the law. I’ve been open, honest, and approachable—not just during election season, but every day. That’s the promise I made when I was elected, and it’s the promise I’ll keep as your State Senator.
